Collection: Syrup Gels

Syrup Gels (Jelly / Sheer Color)

Syrup gels — often called jelly gels — are sheer, translucent color gels designed to be built up in thin layers. They create a soft, glossy “tinted glass” look that can range from barely-there to richly layered. This style is especially popular in Korean-style nail art, where layering syrup shades is used to create clean gradients, delicate depth, and a natural, modern finish.

What results can you get?

  • Sheer wash of color – one thin coat for a subtle tint
  • Buildable depth – 2–4 thin coats for a richer, “glassy” look
  • Soft gradients – easy ombré and blur effects when layered
  • Layering over art – add tone and depth over glitter, charms, or line work

Instructions

Apply syrup gel in thin, even layers and cure after each coat. Build the intensity gradually rather than applying thick layers. Cure fully in a compatible UV/LED lamp (typical curing wavelengths are around 365–405 nm). Finish with top gel and cure again. Always follow the specific curing time and application guidance provided on the product page.

Tip: For the cleanest “syrup” look, keep layers thin and smooth, and use a clear or milky base underneath if you want a softer, more diffused finish.
