Basic Gels

The basics are the foundation of every gel service. This collection includes essential gels like base gels, top gels, and clear builder / overlay gels used for adhesion, structure, protection, and long-lasting shine.

Base gels – improve adhesion and help create a smooth surface for color
Top gels – seal the manicure with gloss or alternative finishes (depending on the product)
Clear gels – for overlays, encapsulation, or balancing the nail surface
Builder / structure gels – add strength, apex support, and reinforcement (where applicable)
Prep & bonding essentials – products designed to support wear and reduce lifting (where applicable)

How to choose

Use a base gel for grip and adhesion, a top gel to seal and protect, and a clear gel when you need extra strength, structure, or encapsulation. If you’re unsure, start with the basics that match your gel system and lamp.

Instructions

Apply each product in the correct order and in thin, even layers unless the product is specifically designed for building. Cure fully in a compatible UV/LED lamp (typical curing wavelengths are around 365–405 nm). Always follow the specific curing time and application guidance provided on the product page.

Tip: Proper curing and correct layer thickness are key for performance. When in doubt, cure a little longer rather than applying thicker layers.
